Beach Day

Interested in having a little outdoor fun while teaching your children how to care for the environment? Then join us at Topanga State Beach ( Off the PCH Highway just a few yards away from Topanga Cyn blvd) Sunday 24, 2021. Using Heal the Bay's tools and resources (e.g., Marine Debris tracker phone application), we will use the first hour to clean the area and then spend the second hour with free play on the beach. Our volunteers will help guide the use of safety materials during clean-up, but each participant, if under age, must be accompanied by an adult. For those with service providers (e.g., behaviorists and supervisors), this is an excellent opportunity to utilize direct service hours in the community. Visual aids or social stories can be provided as an extra resource for those who plan to attend and RSVP. Parking is available alongside the road and parking lot. If you follow the stairs from the parking lot down to the beach, we will be set up at the beach park tables and close to the bathrooms.
